Cleaning
LVT is a professional 
diving
company that specializes in services for water districts. LVT cleans,
inspects and repairs many different water system components, with a specialization
in potable water reservoirs.
On-line Maintenance
LVT's divers enter the reservoir while it is in service and fully operational. To prevent contamination, the diver wears a vulcanized rubber dry suit and is decontaminated before entering the reservoir.Technology
Cleaning is performed using the patented
LiquiVac™ underwater
vacuum system. This system was designed and built for the specific purpose
of cleaning drinking water tanks. It is capable of cleaning floors
and walls without stirring up the sediment. The LiquiVac™ also removes the
slimy layer of bacterial growth underneath the sediment that other cleaning
methods leave behind.
Solutions
In the past, it was virtually impossible to allow a reservoir to remain in-service while the walls were cleaned because of
the
amount of turbidity created while brushing them. Now, the LiquiVac's™ unique
design allows it to be used on the walls as well as the floor. With other
options, such as column cleaning and pipe cleaning, you can choose to avoid
the strain of draining the reservoir and still achieve a thorough cleaning.
